⚽ La Jugada Maestra 2026 – Prediction Challenge
1) Description of the Contest
Character.AI invites the Spanish-speaking community to participate in La Jugada Maestra, a football event where users compete by predicting match scores throughout the tournament. Participants earn points based on the accuracy of their predictions, climb the leaderboard, and compete for the title of La Jugada Maestra Grand Champion.
In addition to the overall competition, participants will compete within regional groups representing Latin America and Spain, creating a friendly rivalry across the community.

- Be a registered Character.AI user and agree to Character.AI’s Terms of Service and acknowledge Character.AI’s Privacy Policy.
- Be 13 years or older (or if you are an EU citizen or resident, 16 years or older).
- Be a resident of Spain or a country in Latin America.
- Not be located or residing in a country subject to U.S. government sanctions.
This event is exclusively available to members of the Character.AI Spanish-speaking community located in Latin America and Spain. Eligibility may be verified before prizes are awarded.
3) How to Participate – What, When, and How
Access the Prediction Venue
- Head over to the #la-jugada-maestra channel on our official Discord server.
Match Score Predictions
Users are required to share their anticipated final scores within the designated channel prior to the start of every game.
Submission windows close at the official kickoff time for each match; consequently, late entries or modifications will not be valid once play begins.
To maintain fairness, only the initial prediction per match will be recognized for each participant.
Use the following command in the channel to submit your score:
/predecir (score) (wining team/draw)Examples: /predecir 3-1 Spain /predecir 1-1 Draw
After sending the command your message will be removed and your prediction will be recorded.
Earn Points
Scores are calculated based on the following accuracy tiers:
- 3 points: Successfully predicting the precise final score.
- 1 point: Correctly identifying the match outcome (win, loss, or draw).
- 0 points: Incorrect tournament prediction.
Leaderboard
The official event standings will receive regular updates as the tournament progresses.
Final rankings are determined by the cumulative point total achieved through individual match entries.
4) Contest Period
Event Starts: July 3, 2026, at 12:00 PM ET, with the kickoff of the first knockout-stage match included in the event.
Match Prediction Deadline: Predictions for each match must be submitted before the official kickoff time of that specific match.
Event Ends: July 19, 2026, following the conclusion of the World Cup Final.
Winners Announced: July 22, 2026.
Character.AI reserves the right to modify event dates if necessary.
5) Content Rules
- Predictions must be submitted before the official match kickoff time.
- Edited predictions made after kickoff will be disqualified.
- Only one prediction per user per match is permitted.
- Participants must follow all Discord server rules and Character.AI Community Guidelines.
- Spam, duplicate entries, fraudulent activity, or attempts to manipulate scores may result in disqualification.
- By participating, users acknowledge that their username, predictions, leaderboard placement, and community group ranking may be featured in event-related content, including Discord announcements, social media posts, and Community Feed content.
6) How Winner(s) Will Be Selected
Winners will be determined based on the total number of points accumulated throughout the competition.
Points may be earned through:
- 3 points: Successfully predicting the precise final score.
- 1 point: Correctly identifying the match outcome (win, loss, or draw).
- 0 points: Incorrect tournament prediction.
The participant with the highest total score at the conclusion of the event will be named the La Jugada Maestra Champion.
If two or more participants finish with the same total score, the following tie-breakers will be applied:
- Most exact score predictions.
- Most correct match result predictions.
- Earliest eligible prediction submission.
All decisions made by the Character.AI team regarding scoring, rankings, eligibility, and winner selection are final.
This version matches the current stage of the tournament, removes outdated references to group predictions, and keeps the event exclusive to the Spanish-speaking community in Latin America and Spain.

Eligible winners may receive community rewards.

- Other community recognition rewards determined by Character.AI
Prize Delivery
Rewards will be distributed within a reasonable timeframe following winner verification.
Character.AI will contact winners through Discord, email, or another appropriate communication channel associated with their Character.AI account.
Additional Conditions
- Rewards are non-transferable.
- No cash alternative will be provided unless expressly stated by Character.AI.
- Character.AI reserves the right to substitute any reward with one of equal or greater value.
8) Other Terms
Right to Cancel or Modify
Character.AI reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the event at any time, including but not limited to if circumstances arise that affect the integrity, fairness, or operation of the competition.
Release
By participating, users agree to release and hold Character.AI harmless from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from participation in the event.
Limitation of Liability
Character.AI is not responsible for technical issues, connectivity problems, platform outages, Discord service interruptions, or other circumstances that may affect participation.
Final Authority
Character.AI reserves the right in its sole discretion to interpret these rules and make final decisions regarding eligibility, scoring, rankings, rewards, and all other aspects of the event.

By participating in this event, users acknowledge that content shared in connection with the event remains subject to Character.AI’s Terms of Service, including applicable content licenses granted to Character.AI.
