1) Description of the Contest
This Winter Holiday season, Character.ai invites you to enter the Winter Holiday Imagine Event Contest. Use Winter Holiday Imagine Chat to transform your Character into a festive Winter Holiday Alternate Universe for a chance to win $100 USD (cash or gift card equivalent). Create cozy, magical, comedic, or heartwarming holiday scenes such as snowy adventures, festive outfits, winter markets, gift-giving moments, or any imaginative holiday twist.
2) Who Can Participate (Eligibility)
To participate, you must:
- Be a registered Character.ai user and agree to Character.ai’s Terms of Service and acknowledge Character.ai’s Privacy Policy.
- Be 13 years or older (or if you are an EU citizen or resident, 16 years or older).
- Not be located or residing in a country subject to U.S. government sanctions.
3) How to Participate – What, When, and How
How to enter
1. Create your Holiday Character Images:
Open a chat with any Character and use Winter Holiday: Imagine Chat
If you have the latest Chat UI:
- Open an existing or new Chat
- Tap on your Persona image on the bottom left of the screen to open Chat Menu Settings
- Select Imagine Chat and tap on “Winter Holiday"!
If you have an older Chat UI:
- Open an existing or new Chat
- Select the sparkle ✨icon on the bottom left of the screen
- Click on “Winter Holiday”
2. Post the image
- Post the image to the c.ai Feed or on Instagram/TikTok
- Use the hashtag #caiholiday
3. Submit by January 5
4. Share your post with your friends on social media (optional):
- Share your entry for more visibility.
5. Tag @CharacterAI (optional):
- Tag @CharacterAI for more chances to be seen.
Limited-time feature limits (daily)
Please note that this limited-time Winter Holiday feature includes special daily limits:
All users will get:
- 3 Winter Holiday Imagine Chat images
c.ai+ members will get:
- 10 Winter Holiday Imagine Chat images
- The ability to set the image as your chat wallpaper
Limits reset daily at midnight UTC.
4) Contest Period
- Event Starts: December 15, 2025
- Submission Deadline: January 5, 2025 at 11:59 PM PST
- Winners Announced: January 9, 2025
5) Content Rules
- Your submission must be created by you using Winter Holiday Imagine Chat during the contest period.
- Your submission must comply with Character.ai’s Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
- By posting your content with the contest hashtag, you agree that Character.ai may feature your entry on Character.ai social channels and/or within the app.
6) How Winner(s) Will Be Selected
The Character.ai team will review all eligible entries and select winner(s) based on:
- Creativity & Visual Appeal
- Relevance to the Winter Holiday theme
Users may submit multiple entries, but only one prize will be awarded per user.
7) Prizes / Incentives
Five (5) winners will each receive:
- $100 USD (cash or gift card equivalent), awarded via the method coordinated directly with winners.
Prize delivery:
- Prizes will be awarded by Character.ai within 30 calendar days of the end of the contest.
- Character.ai will contact winners through the registered email address associated with their Character.ai account to coordinate prize delivery.
Additional conditions:
- Prizes are non-transferable.
- Winners are responsible for any applicable taxes on their prizes.
8) Other Terms
- Right to cancel or modify: Character.ai reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the contest for any reasons, including if any issue prevents it from running as planned.
- Release: By entering, you agree to release and hold Character.ai harmless from any claim associated with the contest.
- Limitation of liability: Character.ai is not responsible and cannot be held liable for technical errors or issues that prevent entries or contest participation.
- Right to substitute: Character.ai reserves the right to substitute any prize with another prize of equal or greater value.
- License reminder: Reminder that under our Terms of Service, you grant Character.ai a license to your submission, including but not limited to, allowing us to share or feature your content across our platforms.
