Invite Incentive Competitions

Character.AI is hosting an invite raffle this February where eligible existing users in Mexico and Indonesia only get one (1) entry into the invite raffle per Qualified Referral (defined below) (the 'Invite Raffle'). Character.AI will select three (3) entries at random to win a cash prize or free c.ai+ for one (1) year.

Who can participate

In order to participate in the Invite Raffle, you must be a registered Character.AI user who, as of February 1, 2025, (i) is at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction of residence, and (ii) resides in an eligible jurisdiction selected by Character.AI. You must agree to Character.AI's Terms of Service ("Terms") and acknowledge Character.AI's Privacy Policy in order to be eligible to participate in the Invite Raffle.

How to participate - what, when, and how

It is free to participate in the Invite Raffle. In order to participate in the Invite Raffle, you must follow the instructions provided by Character.AI.

The Invite Raffle will take place starting at 12:00am Pacific Standard Time on February 1, 2025 and ending at 11:59pm Pacific Standard Time on February 28, 2025.

Eligible existing users get one (1) entry into the Invite Competition for each Qualified Referral obtained during the contest period. As explained in the Invite Raffle instructions, a Qualified Referral includes the following conditions:

Qualified Referral Conditions

  • The invitee must register as a new user of Character.AI using your unique invite link and must not have registered any previous Character.AI accounts.
  • The new user must engage in AI-generated chat communications with at least three (3) Characters (as defined in the Terms) within 3 days of joining Character.AI;
  • The new user must not be a bot user, which Character.AI assesses in its sole determination; and
  • If any new user sign-ups are otherwise suspicious in Character.AI's sole determination, Character.AI reserves the right to disqualify the existing user who generated the suspicious sign-ups from the Invite Raffle.

Prizes and how winner(s) will be selected

At the end of the contest period, Character.AI will select three (3) entries at random. The user's entry that Character.AI selects first will receive approximately $1,500 (one thousand five hundred US dollars) paid in the currency of the user's residence, within 10 days of claiming the prize. The users' entries that Character.AI selects second and third, respectively, will receive free c.ai+ for one (1) year within 10 days of claiming the prize.

Prize Notification:

If you are selected as a winner, Character.AI will contact you via email to notify you that you have won. The winners will have three (3) days to respond to the prize notification in order to claim their prize. If the winners do not respond to the prize notification within three (3) days of receiving the prize notification, they will forfeit the prize and Character.AI will select another winner at random.

The selection of three (3) winners at random is solely within Character.AI's discretion and constitutes a final, binding decision by Character.AI. By entering the Invite Raffle, you agree to abide by Character.AI's sole determination of the three (3) users who win the Invite Raffle.

Other Terms

Right to cancel or modify

Character.AI reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Invite Raffle if any issue prevents the contest from running as planned.

Release

By entering this Invite Raffle, you agree to release and hold Character.AI harmless from and against any claim associated with the Invite Raffle.

Limitation of liability

Character.AI is not responsible and cannot be held liable for technical errors or other things that may prevent the Invite Raffle from running as planned. To the extent permitted by applicable law, you understand and agree that Character.AI will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or damages for loss of profits including but not limited to damages for loss of goodwill, use, data or other intangible losses (even if Character.AI has been advised of the possibility of such damages), whether based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability or otherwise, resulting from the Invite Raffle.

Right to substitute

Character.AI reserves the right to substitute any prize with another prize of equal or greater value.

License

Reminder that under our Terms of Service, you grant Character.AI a license to your Character, which among other things allows Character.AI to post it on our social platforms.

 

 

Tips to win:

  • You will get 1 entry for each person you refer.
  • Send your invite code to friends.
  • Share your invite code on Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, Facebook, etc.
  • Your friend must chat with 3 characters in their first 3 days. Encourage them to talk to your favorite characters.
  • We will detect fake signups. Any fake signup will result in your disqualification.
