About (c.ai) lite

(c.ai) lite is a subscription plan between the free plan and (c.ai+). It gives you a daily amount of messages on premium chat styles, fewer ads, better memory, and chat customization. When your daily premium messages are used up, your chat continues on the free chat styles with no interruption.

What is (c.ai) lite?

(c.ai) lite is a lower-priced subscription that sits between the free plan and (c.ai+). It adds four things to the free experience:

• A daily amount of messages on premium chat styles
• Fewer ads: no banner ads, and fewer interstitial ads
• Better memory: more pins and a detailed Memory Usage bar
• Chat customization: wallpapers, bubble colors, and more

Unlimited messaging stays on every plan, including free. (c.ai+) remains the full experience, with unlimited premium chats, no ads, and the complete memory suite.

Ads on (c.ai) lite

(c.ai) lite reduces ads. It does not remove them.

• No banner ads. The banner ads shown on the free plan are removed.
• Fewer interstitial ads. Interstitial ads are the full-screen ads that appear between actions. On lite, you see them less often than on the free plan.
• Rewarded ads stay available. These are optional ads you choose to watch in exchange for a reward. They are never forced.

Ads are part of what keeps lite's price lower. A fully ad-free experience is included with (c.ai+).

Premium chat styles and your daily amount

(c.ai) lite includes a daily amount of messages on premium chat styles, such as DeepSqueak and LongSqueak. You can spend these messages in any chat.

• The meter shows what you have left. A bar in the Chat Styles menu fills down as you use premium messages.
• Your amount resets every day. Each day you get a fresh daily amount.

What happens when you use up your daily premium messages

Your chat continues on the free chat styles, such as PipSqueak 2. Nothing is interrupted and nothing is lost: the same chat, the same Character, the same history. The next day, your daily premium messages are back and you can switch to a premium style again.

Memory on (c.ai) lite

• 30 memory pins (the free plan has 15)
• A detailed Memory Usage bar that shows a breakdown of what is being remembered in a chat
• Lorebook works the same as on the free plan

Upgrading from (c.ai) lite to (c.ai+)

You can move from lite to (c.ai+) at any time. How depends on where you subscribed.

If you subscribed in the app (App Store or Google Play):

1. Open the subscription screen from Settings → Subscription.
2. Select (c.ai+).
3. Confirm the change in your store's payment screen.

Your store handles the switch, including how the remaining time on your lite plan is credited. (c.ai+) features are available as soon as the change is confirmed.

If you subscribed on the web (payments processed by Stripe):

Submit a request through our support page and select Payments and purchases. Include your account email and purchase date, and we will make the change for you.

Pricing and billing

• (c.ai) lite is available as a monthly or weekly subscription.
• In the US, lite is $4.99 USD a month or $2.49 USD a week. Pricing varies by country, so check the app for your price.
• Your subscription renews automatically until you cancel.

Why does a paid plan still show ads? Ads are part of what keeps lite's price lower. lite removes banner ads and shows fewer interstitials. Zero ads is included with (c.ai+).
