What is c.ai Lite?
c.ai Lite is a new subscription plan that gives you premium-model chats every day, fewer ads, and better memory — at a price below c.ai+.
What's the difference between Lite and c.ai+?
Lite gives you a daily amount of premium-model messages with, fewer ads, and better memory. C.ai+ gives you unlimited premium-model chats, zero ads, the full memory suite, chat customization, early access to new features, and bonus Charms with every pack purchase.
What happens when I use up my daily premium messages?
Your chat continues on the standard model — nothing is interrupted — and your premium messages reset each day. If you'd like premium chats with no daily cap, you can switch to c.ai+.
Why did my chat switch models mid-conversation?
That's your daily premium allowance working as designed. Once your premium messages are used for the day, chats continue on the standard model and reset the next day. You'll see a usage indicator so you can track it. If you didn't see any indicator before it switched, let us know so we can look into it.
Does the free plan change?
No. Free stays as it is, including unlimited messaging. Lite is an additional option, not a change to free.
How much does Lite cost?
c.ai Lite starts at $4.99/mo. Pricing varies by region so Lite stays affordable in local markets.

We price by region so Lite is affordable in local markets. The price shown to you at checkout is the price you'll pay.
Does Lite still show ads?
Lite significantly reduces the ads you see compared to the free experience. A fully ad-free experience is included with c.ai+.
I'm a c.ai+ subscriber — can I switch to Lite?
Lite is designed for members upgrading from free. Your c.ai+ plan already includes everything Lite offers and more. You can manage your subscription anytime through your app store.
Can I upgrade from Lite to c.ai+?
Yes. You can upgrade anytime through your app store's standard plan-change flow, and you'll get unlimited premium chats plus the full c.ai+ feature set.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
How you manage your subscription depends on where you signed up. If you subscribed in the app, you can manage or cancel it anytime in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. If you subscribed on the web (payments processed by Stripe), submit a request through our support page and select the "Payments and purchases" option, and we'll help you make the change. Either way, your plan stays active through the end of your current billing period.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds depend on where you purchased. App Store and Google Play purchases follow Apple's or Google's refund policy and are requested directly through them. For web purchases made through Stripe, submit a request through our support page and choose the "Payments and purchases" option — include your purchase details and we'll take care of it. We always honor the price shown to you at checkout.
What memory and customization do I get with Lite?
Lite includes 30 memory pins (up from 15 on free), a detailed usage view, and chat customization. The full memory suite, including private Lorebooks, is part of c.ai+.
