Creator Insights is your private dashboard for tracking how your Characters are performing across interactions, likes, followers, and discoveries. You can review performance over different time periods, see which Characters are driving the most activity, and find tips to help improve your creations. Data updates every 24 hours.
What are Creator Insights?
Creator Insights shows you how people are finding and engaging with your Characters. It sits alongside the Creator Leaderboard — the Leaderboard shows how you stack up against other creators; Insights shows what's happening with your own audience. Your Insights are private: only you can see them.
How to access your Creator Insights
You can access creator insights from both the mobile app and the web app, or directly from c.ai/creator-insights
Mobile App: Profile → Creator Insights icon (on the right)
Web: Profile → Creator Insights icon (on the right)
Pick a time period
Use the buttons at the top of the dashboard to choose the time period you want to review:
- Past week
- Past month
- Past 3 months
- Past year
- All time
Every metric on the page is calculated for the period you select.
For Past week, Past month, Past 3 months, and Past year, each metric card also shows how your results compare to the previous period of the same length — Past week compares against the week before, Past 3 months against the previous three months, and so on.
If there isn't enough history for a full comparison, the dashboard shows a partial comparison or notes that there isn't enough data yet.
What your key metrics mean
New Interactions
The total number of messages your Characters received from users during the selected period.
A higher number usually means more active engagement across your Characters.
New Likes
The number of new likes your Characters received during the selected period.
Likes show when users positively respond to your Characters.
New Followers
The number of users who started following you during the selected period.
Followers indicate ongoing interest in your Characters and future creations.
New Discoveries
The number of times your Characters appeared across search results, discovery surfaces, and social feeds during the selected period.
Discoveries reflect how often your Characters are being shown to potential new audiences.
Some metric cards include tooltips with additional explanations. Select or hover over the tooltip icon to learn more about how a stat works.
Each metric card also shows how the number has changed compared to the previous period, so you can spot momentum at a glance.
Top Characters
Below your key metrics, the Top Characters section shows which of your Characters are contributing most to your performance.
You can re-rank the list by:
- Interactions
- Likes
- Discoveries
Each entry shows the Character's count for the selected metric alongside the change from the previous period — shown in green for growth and red for a drop — so you can spot momentum at a glance.
Select View all to open Your Characters, the full list of everything you've made.
Your Characters
Your Characters is the full list behind View all. Search across all your Characters by name, filter by active status, and see useful details like assigned tags and whether a Character has been archived. As on the dashboard, you can re-rank by Interactions, Likes, or Discoveries, and each Character shows its change from the previous period.
This is the fastest way to understand what's working. If one Character pulls far ahead, look closely at its greeting, personality, scenario, tags, and overall setup — then bring those learnings to your next Character.
Creator tips
The Tips section gives you quick, Character-specific suggestions for making your Characters easier to find and more engaging.
Each card names one of your Characters and a single change worth making — for example, adding a tagline so people understand a Character at a glance, or adding a definition to keep a Character consistent and in-character.
Each suggestion has two buttons: Add opens that Character's edit page so you can fill in the missing element, and Dismiss clears the suggestion.
These are small, high-leverage edits — none takes long, and each one helps a Character land better with new audiences.
Frequently asked questions
Who can see my Creator Insights? Only you. Creator Insights is private — no other creator can see your dashboard, and you can't see theirs. The Creator Leaderboard, by contrast, is public.
How fresh is the data? Creator Insights updates every 24 hours. Because the data is not real-time, recent activity may not appear immediately. Check back daily for the latest numbers.
Why isn't one of my Characters showing up? Open the full list from View all and search by name. If you've filtered by active status, archived or inactive Characters won't appear — clear the filter to see everything.
How can I grow these numbers? The Creator Guide covers what makes a Character people return to — strong greetings, distinct voices, and scenarios with momentum. You'll find it linked in the Resources section at the bottom of the Insights page.
