Age Assurance is being rolled out gradually, which means the pop-up may not appear for all users immediately.
If you do not see the Age Assurance pop-up, the Advanced setting will not be available and you will not need to take any action at the moment.
If you see the Age Assurance pop-up, please follow the instructions below:
For the mobile app:
- Make sure you have the latest version of the app
- Restart the app
- Go to Settings -> Advanced -> Verify Age
For web:
- Go to character.ai on desktop/web
- Go to Settings -> Advanced -> Verify Age
