Our goal is to build a platform that is both engaging and safe for our community. That’s why we’ve created separate Character.AI experiences for adults and teens, and have developed specific safety features with teens in mind.
How It Works
Get insight into your teen’s activity. This feature will provide you access to their time spent on the platform as well as the top Characters they’re interacting with.
Step One
Your teen can get started by selecting the parental insights tab in “Preferences.” They can add multiple parents or guardians through this same process.
Step Two
They can input your email and invite you to share their activity.
Step Three
Check your inbox for an invitation from your teen to access the feature (make sure to check your spam if you can’t find the initial email). Click Agree.
Step Four
Receive a weekly activity report which will include the time spent by your teen on Character.AI and the top Characters they are interacting with.
To Stop Sharing
To stop sharing their activity, your teen can request to remove an email address by selecting the drop down next to the address in the parental insights tab. You’ll receive an email letting you know the request has been made and requiring you to confirm that this request has been approved.
